(( dave is a bit jealous of other dave because he feels like his alternate is just better off??? its really weird and he cant explain it completely but he really thinks that way and hes like wow i was literally one upped by myself i need some ice for this sick burn))

(( i feel like i need to explain why my dave is such a dramatic prick

so its been two years after the game had ended and hes fifteen now. after sburb was completed and all that and shit went back to normal for him, well, he still KNOWS what happened. he still remembers.

and just so you know he actually remembers every single alternate dave’s experiences, which means he got to see his bro and his friends die multiple times in various gruesome ways and how he failed all those times to protect any one and then in the end he also gets killed like the useless piece of shit he is

in essence the memories get consolidated into his head after sburb, but not all at once (because if they did, itd basically make his brain go on overdrive and result in his getting into a coma of sorts). instead they come in short bursts, usually in his sleep.

this is also why hes paranoid as fuck because he knows how little things can go SO WRONG and it also makes him extremely clingy and worrisome at times ))
